Euphonium Day: May 27, 2023
In collaboration with the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and Besson, we recently welcomed euphonium luminaries to lead a day of fun music making and educational classes.

In 2011 Dr Lucy Pankhurst became the first female composer to be presented with a British Composer Award; she has composed for BBC Radio 3 and has received many accolades for her innovative work.

Ralph Vaughan Williams: Concerto for Tenor Tuba and Orchestra (2019)
Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Concerto for Bass Tuba and Orchestra was first performed on 13 June 1954 at the Royal Festival Hall London, by Philip Catelinet and the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Sir John Barbirolli.
